I needed an authentic Rapunzel story to go along with her china Rupunzel doll. Hard to find everything is Tangled.

I was looking for an original version of the Rapunzel story, and this is it! It has a great story line with an evil witch and the prince. My kid loves it. The pictures are beautiful and this book was in great condition for being so old. I would highly recommend if anyone wants an original version of this old tale.
I collect children's books and this is one of the illustrators I collect. I bought a very nice quality used copy. This tells the G-rated version of the story sans the twin babies at the end. Unfortunately, the storytelling in this one did not grab me and neither did the illustrations. I usually love golden book stories so I was rather disappointed.
