The Tycoon's Misunderstood Bride does not seem like the right title for this story. For one Emma is not misunderstood, she is abused, there is a difference. Her father set things up in the hopes that the abuse would continue well after his death by portraying her as something she was not. Jason’s choice to believe those lies know what kind of man Emma’s father was, is on him and does not make her misunderstood, it does make her ignored since Jason wouldn’t even really listen or believe until after he cashed in on her V-card.

The Tycoon's Misunderstood Bride starts out really slow and I was tempted on numerous occasions to skip ahead, which I did just to see if the story picked up at all. At this point I am of a mind that no book should ever start off at a funeral. I am rather surprised that I read the book from start to finish.

The Tycoon's Misunderstood Bride reminded me of another book of a similar nature, called Unwanted Wife by Natasha Anders. I loved Unwanted Wife but I am having trouble deciding what if anything I liked about this story. Don’t get me wrong, I love Elizabeth Lennox’s other books but for what ever reason this one left me wanting. Unwanted Wife left me in tears on more than one occasion while The Tycoon's Misunderstood Bride just left feeling nothing but eager to get through so I can find another book.

The story line itself was just okay at best but when you throw in the edits, the gender confusion involving Jason and inconsistencies it really left me cold and the only thing left is to give The Tycoon's Misunderstood Bride a one-star rating which is truly sad given how much I like other Elizabeth Lennox stories.

Another wonderful read. She simply can't produce less than the best. The characters are phenomenal, and I don't plan to miss a single one. The story has a bit of everything that makes a good read. On to the next Lennox read!
Emma's devious Father ordained in his Will who she was to Marry and produce an heir if she wanted to know where her Mother was! Read. this enthralling book to find out if she succeeds!
A great book by Elizabeth Lennox. The story line was great. The sexual content was well written. I highly recommend this book.
Well Ms Lennox has surprised me with this book. I have enjoyed other books by her with a smile for the stories and the humor. But this story has a highten sense of sensitivity, and caring without a lot of graphic sex. I enjoyed the sex scenes in the other stories, but the basic storyline was very intense in this story was very good. Continue the great stories I will be reading more of them. Your are becoming another favorite author..
Jason and Emma were forced into a marriage because of her evil father. The only way that Emma would be told where her mother is if she marries Jason and conceives a son. Jason would then find out where his father is. I love how Emma gets Jason to meet her at a location where they could conceive a baby. The story of Emma and Jason was a fantastic insight into how even when faced with a very sad upbringing they grew up to be very loving people.
I highly , recommend this book.
This was a wonderful story. Our heroine has had a hard life growing up with a really terrible father. Her horrible father has passed away at the beginning of the story, but he knew important information that both the hero and heroine desperately want to know. He kept it a secret that could only be divulged when the hero and heroine married and had a son. Besides that, he set it up so the hero thought terrible things about the heroine because of her father's lies.
Even with all of this, love triumphs.
I really enjoyed this story, both characters were likable and I wanted them to find their hea. Both had been pushed into an arranged marriage in order to discover their 'missing' parents. The h's father truly had been a nasty piece of work and had emotionally abused the h The H was really sweet in the way he dealt with her, once he realised that her father had lied about her being a slut. If you're looking for light entertainment without angst then you'll enjoy this one.
